ABC Canberra
Spice & Co. Design has developed campaigns that have added interest to the existing ABC Canberra brand, with designs that fit within an existing national style.
We have created an individualised regional brand for the 666 radio station, the creation of print advertising for a range of publications, and the design of campaigns related to a range of issues, including:
- ABC Green – a campaign designed to raise awareness of the ABC’s commitment to environmental sustainability and inform audiences about the difference they can make to our collective future by taking green actions. We created posters, flyers and t-shirts to convey the campaign message
- The Lights ACTion Challenge – a followup to the ABC Green campaign, encouraging office workers in Canberra and Hobart to install efficient lights and reduce their usage. We designed and created striking posters and stickers to raise awareness in the workplace
- Active August – a campaign encouraging listeners to try their hand at new activities. We created a series of press advertisements combining sharp typography with a series of hand-drawn characters playing with stereotypes by undertaking unexpected activities
- Floriade Podtours and Photos – promoting the downloading of Floriade 21 Podtours from the 666 website, and the uploading of listener photos to the website
- Canberra International Film Festival 2007 & 2008 Program – understated advertising linking the cinemagoer’s experience to the radio listener’s one.
