DoHA Residential Care Manual

DoHA asked Spice & Co. Design to produce a Plain English and user-friendly Residential Care Manual as a guide to the complex legislation governing Australia’s Residential Health Care providers.

In essence we had to make something really complex, really easy to read. Our communication savvy client wanted us to design a look and feel that would inject a sense of modernity and respect among providers, and sought also to establish a brand that could be carried across a raft of upcoming publications.

The Manual has been extremely well received by DoHA’s internal and external stakeholders and has gone on to be the brand cornerstone for a full range of publications. This design won an award for Environmental Excellence in the 2009 Printing & Graphic Excellence Awards.
