Recently launched, the new INO website showcases the vast amount of commercial furniture INO has on offer. The site gives the INO team total control over text and image content.
‘I love it. We can add images and updates quickly, and content always looks great’ says Valia Palmer, General Manager INO Contract Furniture.
The site enables INO’s clients to see the full range of its products online. The site also features an ‘interest list’ function, that allows prospective clients to email in a list of products and obtain a detailed quote for supply.
‘Within a week of launching the new site we were receiving detailed enquiries for new business via the interest list’, Valia happily reported to us.

Sander Egging has worked with Spice & Co. Design since May 2008. He came to the team having worked on international brands such as LA Gear Europe, Lee Jeans, Mazda, ING and American Express.
Originally from The Netherlands, Sander has worked in Rotterdam, Los Angeles, Sydney and Canberra.
A mad keen cyclist, Sander has settled here in Canberra working with Spice & Co. Design’s government and small/medium enterprise clients.
What are you working on today?
Today I’m working on some giant graphics of fruit and vegetables for a retail fitout in Westfield Woden.
How does working in Canberra compare with other cities?
The type of clients might differ from place to place, but the fundamentals of what a designer does for clients doesn’t really differ.
I’ve been able to work with some really great local companies to enhance their brand’s potential, and I apply the same process to those brands as I did for American Express in Sydney, for example.
What is your favourite type of project?
I like everything from sketching the original idea for a logo to coming up with a publication hierarchy for a book or website. I like meeting clients, and I love it when a client leaves the studio with a result they’re excited about.

How many times have you been on a website that annoys the hell out of you? You can’t find what you’re after, search functions don’t work, and you’ve spent what seems like ages trying to penetrate apparently endless amounts of information to find what you need. Horrible isn’t it? A waste of your time!
These issues are rarely the consequence of a limited budget; they’re usually the result of a lack of planning…
Planning is a critical design element when creating a new site. Deciding how information is to be categorised and displayed, identifying your typical user and what they’re likely to want from your site – these things are as important as how the site looks.
This process can often be a daunting task that brings up some really fundamental strategic questions like: Who is my audience? What are the possible new markets? What is my point of difference? What are our key messages?
Spice & Co. Design offers a web workshop that helps clients quantify the assumptions that will underpin a great new site design. To find out more or to book in for a web workshop email

SASi enhances visual controls throughout your website, maintaining your brand’s integrity for years to come.
Using SASi only requires basic word processing skills, allowing you to hand control of your website to anyone within your team, with the knowledge that
the look and feel of the site will be of a high quality for years to come, and remain consistent with the design you’ve paid for.
Websites are expected to be fluid. Your audience expects your site will display the latest information. You need to be able to quickly make a company announcement, update a pricelist, announce a new event, or profile a new member of the team.
Traditionally you need web coding knowledge to do this, but if you’re like many of our customers you don’t have a web developer on staff.
SASi is the answer. With a SASi site, once your new site is up and running you can independently upload text, images and media, while maintaining the site’s look and feel.
Individual permissions and passwords allow you to track who has been editing content and when. Page drafts can be kept hidden until they’ve been approved for release, allowing anyone in the office to prepare a draft – only to be released when the boss has given content the all clear.
